  They park is on an okay side of town. Just a short walk from MJC east campus. It's close to the downtown area. Most of the dogs here are good, I emphasize the word most. Some people don't properly socialize their dogs and it can cause issues at times. Some people also like bringing large dogs into the large dog area, which has caused my small breed puppy to nearly be hurt on multiple occasions. There are also a lot of wood chips out here which can be a problem for dogs if they end up swallowing it or having splinters in their paws. There's reasonable amount of shade here and a public water fountain for those hot days. I don't recommend bringing toys or treats because everyone else's dog thinks that they are entitled to whatever is for your dog.
  
  Might give the park a better rating if I didn't have issues with other people's dogs while I have been here and there wasn't all the wood chips that are potential hazard for the dogs. I will admit that an overwhelming majority of the dogs and their owners are friendly here. But the bad ones are enough to properly frustrate me.
